I have been riding in the same pair of gaerne sg 10 boots for 3 seasons now, and the only problem i have had was the plastic at the ankle got shredded by my old yz125s brake resevoir mounts, making the plastic separate. these are absolutly great boots and if i wasnt getting such a great deal on sg10s i would definatly not hesitate to buy another pair of the sg1. the soles also last much longer than the soles on alpinestars. definatly a great boot.
