These are by far the best boots that I have ever owned. I dont know how they are beatable, unless they could be a little cheaper.

The overall comfort and protection of the tech 8's is legendary for a reason. These boots have saved my feet from everything from tree roots to large boulders. I'm on my second pair, and I have to comment that I do not like the sole compound used on the latest version. The soles on the earlier version of the boot survived two years of every weekend racing/riding before needing to be replaced. The newer version just doesnt seem to stand up to footpegs as well.
Dont get me wrong, these are the best boots I have ever owned, I just wish they would go back to the old compound.
